Micah Johnston is the Sports Editor for the Macon Melody. When he’s not fanatically watching baseball or reading sci-fi and Stephen King novels, he’s creating and listening to music. The Royals will almost certainly be on the road in the playoffs, though the No. 29 ranking should improve once private schools are removed from the rankings.
“Playing a team that’s in our region, it makes it even tougher, because they know your ins and outs,” Bleckley County head coach John Stanley said after the game.
With basketball season officially underway, the Bleckley county boys team saw mixed results in its first two games but ultimately came away with plenty to be optimistic about.
